Sound blaster issues

OK so I bought a sound blaster z a few weeks ago and it was working fine up until windows updated.  After the update it stopped working.  Before in the device manager there was the sound blaster audio controller and the sound blaster z now all i see is the the audio controller.  I've uninstalled the drivers and now when i try to install the driver it tells me that there is no supported product installed even though the sound blaster audio controller clearly shows up in the device manager.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try to install the drives manually with device manager itself, so basically right click > install drivers > navigate to your driver folder and see if it picks it up. If not, you could try using windows compatibility mode and select an older version of windows than you have now.
