This is really freaking vague and I do apologize but where do I start with networking? Pretty much I want to get into setting up servers and I'm interested in getting into the IT community. I don't know a whole lot except I have some Linux knowledge (Debian, Arch, and Mint) but I'm by no means an expert lol. If you could just point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated, thanks.
I couldn't find anywhere on this forum where this truly belonged but this seems like the most logical place. I could've put this in the networking area but this isn't software of hardware specific just a really vague networking question.
I'm also considering ordering some books from Amazon on networking, you guys have anything to suggest? (Do you guys think books are a good source to learn networking?)
