Sony Vegas render issues

I have been using vegas for years and this problem just happend today. I have been working on this project for about 3 days and now whenever I render any video it looks like this but when I watch the finished render it is fullscreen without the black bars but you can see pixels. I filmed this all on a cannon 7d and I have messed around with the video render formats and project settings and nothing has worked. Any help would be great as I need this finished.

Oooo a fellow Downhill rider I see.

Sounds like some odd rescaling is going on.

First thing that strikes me as odd, is your project video settings. 1440x1080???? Thought the 7d recorded at either 1920x1080 or 1280x720?

Change the project resolution settings to match that of the source footage. See if that helps.

Yeah the project is set up for 1920x1080 at 25fps but when I render it, well you see.

So when it finishes rendering, does it have the block box all around it? If so what's the resolution of the output file?

Make sure that vegas is detecting the input files resolution properly.

did you disable to the maintain aspect ratio?

In the video timeline, right click the video (even where the video is split) and then click "maintain aspect ratio" then do the same thing and disable resampling

When it the render is complete it is fullscreen but the output is 1440x1080 and it just looks horrible and makes using after effects for motion tracking horrible aswell.

I have made sure that maintain aspect ratio is off aswell and not luck.

I also reinstalled sony vegas hoping for a quick fix.

Do you think I should just jump software?
