Hey guys, now that the ps2's prodcution has already ended, what are your thoughts about it?
I mean after I read about it, I started to think of buying a brand new ps2 (I never had one^_^) because it's going to be rare after some months,.. makes me feel kinda sad inside,.
Personally I think it should have ended production a while ago. But it does make me feel a little sad that the worlds best selling console is now dead and no more.
New PS2s will be rare, but the PS2 in itself will never be rare, atleast not in our lifetimes
the PS2 sold 150 million
the SNES sould 50 million, and the genesis sould 40 million and you can easily find either one of those in a thrift store, 20 years later

I don't know why, but I never played my PS2 that much
Even back in the day, I only really used it for my GTA/MGS fix
Between Wind waker, Smash bros. Pokemon XD, and Mario Sunshine, I played my Gamecube a whole lot more than my PS2
Sony really should have stopped selling them a long time ago, it's been practically dead since 2008 IMO
