Been searching for a new phone to upgrade from my 3GS , and noticed this Z1 Compact that was cheap and well rated and high score getting phone.. Bigger than iphone 5s and cheaper , performance higher.. Why not Z1 couse too big and Z2 expensive and not much upgraded..
Anyone has one of those and can give some SOLID do's and dont's
I have a Z1 and love it but the build of android they have on here is horribly unstable and crashes constantly.
It's my second Z1 as well, because the first wasn't actually waterproof and let water in.
I have a Z Ultra and love it, perfect balance between phone and tablet. Similar specs to a Z1, just a bigger screen.
If you dont like the standard android version you could always install a costum ROM.
I'm going to install the GPe ROM and also a linux distro to get as much out of the device as posible.
Just search the xda forums for your phone if you want a costum ROM and if you like linux aswell this looks promising: http://whiteboard.ping.se/Android/Debian
