Some guy needs help with his build

Woo! Random person asked me to help with his build.  I asked him some questions; here are his answers:

Hardcore games.
Newest releases.
Mid+ settings. Ultra if possible.
60+ FPS.
1080p resolution.
Overclocking some.

And here is his build:

lol should more than do it

but really should get a ssd

i'm told barracuda drives have a 30% failure rate, as much money is being spent i'd reccomend raid0 caviar blues (or any caviars really)

Put two WD red's in RAID 1, just to be safe

I don't know much about SLI, but he wants to run 2 770gtxs.  What sort of cooling would that need, if any?

Barracudas do have upwards of a 30% failure rate, so I'd get the Seagate SV35.5 instead.

You would need no extra cooling for 770 SLI.

Also, I'd switch that PSU out for a Rosewill Capstone 750M, if you want to stick with Rosewill, or a Corsair HX750, which is much better than the selected PSU. You don't need more than 750W for 2-way 770 SLI; 650W would work, but 750W gives you lots of room.

They'll be fine out of the box.  Just get a case with good front to back air flow.  Side fans in my experience just cause tubulence if there is strong airflow from the front.  Good for cooling Motherboard though.

Put this up the other day.

Why running a 800 dollar sli setup? you can get a GTX-780 for less,

Thanks guys, I know I can count on you. ;)

Now, about that cooler...  Two things: Will an R4 fit it? and is it sufficient for that CPU+overclocking?

He said he's ok with a water cooler, even though it is louder than air.

Pretty high faliure rate if you ask me.

I've been using WD's 1TB Caviar Blacks in Raid 0 for over a year now with no issues.  Good warranty on them aswell being 5 years.

I'd probably take a Single GTX 780, just so I don't have those SLI issues that crop up.

In all honesty, ditch the H80i and get him the Xigmatek Dark Knight Hawk Edition.

I went from a Xigmatek Balder HDT 1283 (which is almost identical to the Dark Knight bar the fact my Balder is Nickle Plated) to the H100i with only slighty better temps but 5 times as much noise and i had to pack up the backplate with washers just to get good contact with the cpu.

I have a feeling that the Xigmatek DK will perfom better than the H80i and do it quietly and it shouldn't interfere with any Dimm slots.  At least with my Z77 board my Xigmatek didn't.
