Some game stuttering Nvidia GTX 970

Hey everybody,

So I just upgraded my GPU from a Gigabyte GTX 660 to an Nvidia GTX 970.

I noticed on some games there are some stuttering. Titanfall is like night

and day after the replacement but other games like Wolfenstien TNO and COD AW

seem to be stuttering or doesnt seem like the awesome upgrade I just did. Is there anything to

tweak or do to make these effects better? Also I am using my Vizio Tv through HDMI

as the display. Thanks again

my specs

AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz  GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)  CORSAIR Hydro Series H60
CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W SAMSUNG 840 EVO 120GB (SSD)
Western Digital WD Green 3TB

Could be some CPU bottlenecking although those games don't really require that fast of a CPU. Are your drivers fully updated?

When I installed the GPU I went to Nvidias website and downloaded the drivers I currently have Driver 347.09

Would there be any other drivers I might be missing?

i cant realy speak of the other 2 games, But COD AW is a cpu bound game wenn played on 1080p.

It could be a cpu bottleneck, install msi afterburner, and monitor the gpu load during the game play, if you see allot of gpu load drops under the 80%, wenn the stutter appears, then its related to most likely the cpu.

But offcourse micro stutter can be caused by manny things, for example, not fully stable system, or a bad driver somewhere for example.
