I received an Acer Aspire Predator from a friend (it's nearly 4 years old) and it looks to be in good working condition. However, they mentioned the motherboard might give out at any moment. I want to try and salvage as many parts from it as i can including the i7 940 processor. Here's my problem; where in the UK can i buy a motherboard that fits the socket for the processor? Or am i wasting my time with it? Any advice would be welcomed.
