can any one tell me how to install usb 3.0 drivers for asus maxumus v formula z?

Are they not working? because they should come pre installed also you should probably install Ubuntu 14.04.3 lts instead of 15.04 because that's a long term support release while 15.04 is a 6 month release.

but no my usb 3.0 tplink ac1200 dosent work unless i boot into windows

i just down loaded the instilation guied for tp link ill try and follow that an see if that works

You should specific in your title that this is a wireless usb 3.0 card instead of just usb 3.0.

sorry i didn’t realize it was just the wireless adapter that needed to be installed i just assumed it would be anything usb 3.0

Thank you mate this worked! took me a minute because i did not know what dkms was but i figured it out got that installed then the script worked, thanks again.

Can you check it works properly (proper speed, etc.)

802.11ac devices for Linux are still fairly rare unless there build in, itll be good to know that this is a working option.
