**Solved ** powering on X570 Taichi mobo PC auto-shuts off, then auto powers back on

Asrock x570 Taichi motherboard with 5900x amd cpu

Ram is 128GB total ( all four dimm’s occupied) of KHX3600C18D4/32GX running at 3200mhz speed at sensible timings.

Psu is 850watt Seasonic tx-850 titanium rated and brand new

** The problem WAS ***
Regardless of the bios version I try…It’s always the same weird issue.

When I power on the PC, everything powers on as normal. Then within 5 to 6 seconds later at most, it auto powers back off by itself.

Then within 3 seconds or less, it auto-powers back on and everything just works.

I could have sworn I remember Wendell on a past video talking about this board …or at least in general the x570 amd motherboards if they all have this problem ( one or the two) and what the simple solution is, but don’t remember which video nor the solution.

** Update 7 pm central time 6-21-21 ***

Solution = I updated my bios to 4.30, then went back into uefi/bios, Advanced tab, then the setting called “Force m2_3” talking about ssd.

Ensure that is " Disabled"

No more auto shut down and then auto restart nonsense. It’ just powers on once no matter if my psu’s breaker switch is set to closed ( power on and ready) and power on pc or…if I have the breaker switch turned off for at least 30 seconds until the power and Reset onboard buttons on mobo’s lights turn off, then flip the switch back to power on aka closed circuit position and power the pc on…= problem resolved regardless.

Hope this help other x570 mobo users…It may be applicable to other mobo brands but I’m not sure. Check with your mobo manufacturer’s support site to confirm.

Cheers
