Eh, part of the fun of learning I guess :) If all else fails I stick windows back on and run Linux in a VM untill I get a laptop that has proven to be better with Linux. But until I get to that step I wanna see if there is any other POSSIBLE solutions haha
I worked with a laptop that had an A6-4455M chip inside. Suspend would not function fully until I installed the proprietary drivers (fglrx).
interesting. I tried doing this and it had an issues and I almost fudged my install. Any chance of having a link to how you did it?
