[SOLVED] CSGO won't start on Fedora 23 (Macbook Air)

solved it by setting permissions manual:

chmod -R 755 '/home/dan/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo_linux'

OP:
Hey guys,

So I wanted to try out CSGO on Linux, using Fedora 23 on my 2013 (Haswell, i5-4250, HD 5000) Macbook Air.

Unfortunately my game wont start after I downloaded it with steam.
I downloaded it and clicked 'Play' but it wont even install (like it should do?)
it will just open this small window (Launching CSGO) and after that disappears again, nothing happens.

Anyone having an idea how to fix this?

I solved it by setting permissions manual:

chmod -R 755 '/home/dan/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo_linux'

Thanks guys!

Fedora 23 ? hm not sure what the problem is there. Fedora 15 'lovelock' and Fedora 14 'laughlin' was giving me problems similar to this until I ran a scan and discovered several bugs.

I solved it a few days ago :) I will put that in the OP...
