(SOLVED) Automatic format on arch linux

I am currently running windows 7 on my main HDD and a second one in windows. I want to dual boot using architect arch Linux installer on another SSD. My question is will my other HDDs be formatted when I install? Do I have to unplug the other HDDs on installation?

As long as you partition the correct drive and install arch in the correct drive (use lsblk or fdisk -l to identify the drives and select the correct one), and possibly the bootloader too, but that depends on what kind of setup you actually want, you won't have any problems. If you want to be/feel safe, unplug your other drives.

Thank you for your help. I will just unplug the drives just to be sure.
