Im currently in the process of setting up my VM server on my new EVGA SR-2 and I came across an issue I have faced many times: sudo apt-getting a GUI or updates from the command line when stuck on wireless. Im looking for a solution to enable me to continue using my less than optimal wifi connection while having the convenience of being able to connect PC’s using RJ45 (and not having to deal with trying to get drivers working / connecting to a WPA2 network fromm command line) I have thought about a powerline solution, but being the novice at EE that I am, I am assuming that that would be impossible due to the wifi AP / router / modem being on an entirely different circuit on the opposite side of the house (I already have an ultimatum from the controlling 3rd party that the WAN networking infrastructure is not moving) Any alternatives?
