Hi, I have a Surface Pro 3 and would like to be able to write with the pen on .pdf documents and then save. I can do it with Adobe Acrobat but it dosent take long before the Surface get overheated and slows down. This is the only program I used so far that has this problem. Can someone recommend something else since Acrobat seems not to work to well with the Surface?

I use OneNote for that, but it's not something I can recommend really, because no software for Windows is optimised for touch or pen.
The best option - I use it all the time - to annotate pdf's with a pen, is by using Adobe Reader on Android. It has so much functionality, and is really optimised for touch and pen. It works fast enough, and is available for free. To my knowledge, there is currently no similar program for Windows.
