This was just my attempt at fitting a gtx 780 into a $1500 build, without sacrificing to much.

In my opinion, i think you could do without the Xigmatek cooler and go with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo, that would work just as good and save you a couple dollars. I would also go with windows 7 instead of windows 8, especially if you plan to game. But on the other hand seems like a sweet rig
Thanks, yeah i could put a cheaper fan in there. Im considering doing something like the above rig, or something like this: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/1d4CW Then buying a second 760 later. What do you recommend?
Its nice, but you're gonna have to spend another $600 on a 1440p monitor to justify the purchase.
I was thinking a 1080p 144hz monitor?
Also do you think the build i posted in the comments or the l build i started the post with is a better buy?
I like the second one, with the i7, but that is cause i do programming and run alot of tasks at once so i like the extra horse power. but It really depends on what you plan to do with the rig. If you plan on just gaming then i would go with the first build, i5. but if you want the computer for an all purpose machine that will kickass and get good OC numbers then the i7 would be the way to go. then you could always just get an extra 760 like you said.
If you want a 1080p 144hz monitor, the 770 is the most you need.
how does this look, for a build with monitor, mouse etc included. I would get a second 760 in a future.

or would something more like this have equal preformance

Well, if you're going to be doing video editing the first would be the best option, but for a mostly gaming build, definitely the second.

I think this is what im going with, its $100 over my budget, but its worth it if i can get that case and PSU.
