Electric Wizard - Funeralopolis
Found it from the crab smoking on a beer can meme
I’ve never been a fan of “breakdowns”. Almost ALL breakdowns sound the same throughout the industry and I know that’s a big thing in “groove”, and I’m not opposed to “groove” or “breakdowns” in general when they’re done right, but this is the best set of breakdowns that I’ve ever heard from any band; I’m not even a fan of this band.
RIP Steve Grimmett.
Is it about romantic love lost, or is it about trying to cope with someone’s decision to commit suicide?
LeVar Burton ist Gott.
Metal Archives accepts SO MANY bands, but not this one. I don’t understand why. Enlighten me.
This is perfectly acceptable, though.
Fun fact, Aborted blew out my car speakers in my old car (it was the bass drop in the song I shared), so my girlfriend at the time’s dad showed me how to replace everything.
I’d treat it, towards a hopeless romantics unreciprocated relationship
All that wishful thinking, to living through actual outcomes, of it being 1way
… But still longing, for all those novel endgames / actions [dare I say, almost toxic]
These belong together. One cannot be listened to without harkening the other… they’re like Sonny and Cher… ~looks back and whispers~ What do you mean Sonny and Cher broke up? ~background mumbling~ When?! AH, fuck me. ~more whispering~ the kids are calling it WHAT these days!!! “Ghosting”??? Brutal.
Fuckin’ Michael Angelo Batio and Jim Gillette (T.J. Racer and Bobby Rock, too, but this was a “display” band, and at the time it was all guitar and vocals)!
I’ve loved every Remedy game so far (haven’t played Alan Wake 2, though), but when Poets of the Fall came back as Old Gods of Asgard for Control, I nearly shit my pants during this part of the game.
Technically it’s a mix of live and studio, but a fair amount of the “live” COULD be coming from the soundboard on the vocalist’s mic, which is why you only hear the crowd at the beginning and end of the video. Just got the CD for the EP release of this song in yesterday; the video does sound different from the studio release and it isn’t any kind of audio compression.
Still, ALL FEMALE J-POWER!!!
I did have to piece the English translation images together in GIMP and go browser fullscreen for the JP lyrics screenshot capture, but still, the YouTube (Google) translation is accurate enough to get the point across (it was screenshotted verbatim, so the double line spacing is on, presumably, Google for the English translation).
