So.. what metal song are you listening to right now?

Because people lack ideas?
Unlike Blackbriar…

I had a complete mental breakdown once and it wasn’t over someone not using their turn signal. I also wasn’t rude to the police.

I can empathize, but damn; that’s some serious help needed. Also, encountered someone like that while Baker Acted. I think everyone should spend at least one week in an institution with open eyes to see that there aren’t many people that actually work there that care. It’s mostly volunteers that have been through extreme trauma that want to actually help the patients (at least in the US).

Has nothing to do with relationships. Maybe personally to the artist; it’s just a beautiful piece of music to me.

BASSISTS, duck it more.

Still the best dead YouTube channel.

American crowds suck, at least around here. Back when I went to shows every week, myself and two others (didn’t know them and they were always different people) responded to the bands chorally on queue. Every one else was there to mingle, meet the bands and pitch their own shit, self-absorption kind of crap.

The majority of me wants to go back to Europe, but the Native in me just wants the assholes to go find their own island, move there and leave the rest of the world alone.

Beast in Black is another goat band.
(The guitarist from Battle Beast used to compose the songs and write lyrics, then the guy was kicked out or quit, and started Beast in Black. Both bands rock)

On another note, I’m falling into a nostalgia rabbit hole atm

All bands make music. Some bands make art.

I’m not sure what happened, but they definitely had a fall out. It happens. :person_shrugging:

I did end up buying the remaster (2008) when that came out (it sounds the same), but that version had an audio DVD with the album mixed in 5.1 surround… it was worth it. Soundscape euphoria.

Seen them live multiple times. Always fantastic. Very nice people in general, as well.

Falling inside again
This nightmare always the same
Still never enough
Halting at the brink of discovery

Moving into the darkness
Leaking inside to cover up
Dragging me down and under
Entangled and undone at once

Old memories
I’m not in need but wish to know
What are the tragedies
The history behind the walls

Pacing further down
Familiar children’s laughter
Dissonant and out of time
And their eyes are dead

Watching myself in a pool of water
Wearing the mask of a ghost
Smeared all across my skin
Rotten earth and insects

Endless night
Always preserving the calm
Movement behind
Bleeding animals in a field of fire

There is no absolution
Death is but a fairytale
They are mere visions
They are afraid of me

Clear insight
A smoke is rising nearby
Dust covering my coat
Blend together to spell my name

Pale, covered me with sweat
There are no words left
Sole provider of death
Distorted faith in myself

Human harvest burning
Blackest pages turning
Twisted perception come true
Captured in dreams connected

Staring right back
Spiritual decay - still seeking
Frozen in time
Mourn this departure - all watching

Calling me back
Closure to bleak matters - I’m leaving
End of a search
Coming of morning

Calling me back
Closure to bleak matters - I’m leaving
End of a search
Coming of morning - returning

It’s even in 2.39:1 aspect ratio. Nice.

After sitting on it for five years Orpharion’s just dropped the most solid symphonic album I’ve ever heard. Mad props to whoever mixed A Faraway World too.
