So.. what metal song are you listening to right now?

First songs since Nicky Calonne left. I find Dickie Allen’s growling a bit hard to understand. But how lucky wasn’t them when they picked an actor to play John Goblikon who can sing too.

Damon Systema’s debut slams most satisfactorily. Mostly triangulates off death, power, and doom.

Fucking Micheal Angelo Batio and Jim Gillette. Such a good duo. The best possible use of the term “extremists”.

Never watched this guy, but the tour and interview is pretty cool.

Oh shit! He’s this guy! A shame Sarah Longfield no longer does YouTube videos.

I spent half my life just trying to survive
And the other half trying to keep you all alive
For some reason I still care
I’ve done my dirt, it’s amazing that I’m still here

There’s true evil out there, I’ve been trying to warn you
You could meet the devil himself, then what you gonna do?
No time to pray, no chance to run
Listen… 'cause I’ve been on both sides of the gun

As you stand before me we’re all here as one
We gotta come together or our chances are none
Maybe I’m just a dreamer, too many obstacles
The thought of humans co-existing, that’s impossible

Better to stay numb, live in denial
We’re all going to hell and did it to ourselves
Too much religious beef, too much racist shit
And if there is a God we probably make him sick

I don’t particularly care for Jimmy Fallon, but here’s the interview about Body Count’s “cover” of Comfortably Numb.

The downside with Body Count is that they have tons and good songs, but I feel I better not post them :stuck_out_tongue: Also, love Vincent Price’s bass tone. So dirty.

Good things can come from controversial topics, but the US is always last to learn.

“Remastered” doesn’t sound any different from the original CD release.

I had a Swedish princess (I called her that, she wasn’t part of the royal family) once when I was a teenager and this was our song. I know now that it was probably a cruel joke based on the fact that when I tried to call her when I finally got a cell phone (at 19; we had talked on the phone before through pre-paid phone cards. It was the dial-up age) a man picked up, but she drew me elaborate drawings in the physical paper letters that we sent to each other, so I don’t know. The sentiment is still there, regardless.

I think it went too far a long time ago, but eh.

Saw Children of Bodom live during the Hate Crew Deathroll tour. Never got to see Sinergy, unfortunately.

This counts right?

Yes, all of the extra "e"s are there on purpose. It’s kind of their thing.

I will add “daughters” WITH every “son”, though.

I need a USB input and the deck has to support an iPod 6th Gen Classic. I have several extra of the cable (since the iPod end is proprietary :upside_down_face:), but even my 2009 Sony Xplode head unit says that it’s an “unidentifiable device” sometimes, which didn’t happen until firmware updates to the iPod.

Best case, that tank needs a CD player with shock absorption.
