You’re right. I misjudged you based on one band’s stance and that was wrong of me. 
After a month of searching for this out of print CD online (accidentally ordered the vinyl from the record label because I was excited) I finally got my hands on it, and lo and behold, the vocalist on this album is Yannis from Beast in Black. 
I’ve found it difficult to listen to anything that Jon Schaffer has been a part of since the Jan. 6th riots. It’s hard for me to separate the artist from the art, because the art IS the artist, but still…

I love The Divine Comedy; probably one of the greatest literary works to ever exist, but Inferno was always the most popular. I understand why, but Paradiso and Purgatorio are equally amazing.
This is very clearly about Major Depressive Disorder, which is something I know all too well. Suicide has never stuck, though, so here I am. Death doesn’t want me, and I’m okay with that now.
I’ve always loved the Universal Studios monster movies even as a child. The lessons taught from each story (including their origins) is priceless. Whole album as a playlist.
