I was looking at some specs for the new AMD A10-5800k which I have just purchased. I found this:
"Max DDR3 1866"..... so does this mean that the APU won't be able to take advantage of overclocked ram or something like Sniper 2133mhz sticks (which I also have).

It may only "officially" support 1866, doesn't mean an OC to 2133 on decent equipment won't work.

Ah okay I was just wondering. I think I read that the APU can't take advantage of GDD5 memory though, it kicks it down to GDD3.
I was thinking how awesome it would be in the future if they used the FM2 socket as a prototype for APUs that utilize the new DDR4 chips coming out.
