so i saw this watercooler online and i bought it for 26,95 Euro (with shipping) but i have no idea wtf it is... So i know it's a AIO watercooler and OEM i suppose but what are the specs? I do think it is a n aluminium radiator judging by the fittings but alluminium gets rid of heat better than copper does so no problem to me. (i've had experience with alu radiators before)
He says it's a 19cm radiator (wich makes sense when you look at the model number) But i can't find anything about it at all (for the lazy: CooliT systems ECO III-191S Ciara , R0190N )
i-am going to use it to cool my R9 280X as it's a bit noisy. To know some specs would be nice
That's some weird tech right there. From what I can see the pump looks like the one on the Corsair H100i. In fact if you look at this page over Gamernexus that cooler is made by the OEM that makes the H100i for Corsair (CooliT). So I guess the pump specs are the same. About the rad looks like a wider H80i GT, not quite 120mm but surely more than 140mm. I guess you could strap a wide frame Noctua NF-A15 on it.
That'd be great! but do you guys think the rad is made out of aluminium? because as far as i know the corsair pumps/blocks have copper heat exchangers and that would become a problem over time right?
And i've got a 3D printer so i'll make a nice adapter or frame for the part if it is a weird dimension
looking more into coolit, seems they are the OEM for corsair water coolers. also they mainly make products for datacenter, so what you might have could be a watercooler for a server. the longish radiator might suggest it was meant to be mounted horizontally in a 2u-rack server chassis, how thick is the rad?
There are two big makers of AIO liquid coolers, Asetek and CoolIT. They make pretty much all the AIOs on the market, be they Corsair, NZXT etc etc. There are only a couple small exceptions. Nothing special with that CoolIT cooler, test it out on some heat source to see how it performs.
The PDF i linked there is probably the specs for the pump-block. The radiator is probably harder to find, looks like it is built for some specific system. Will probably be a bit interesting to mount it in an ordinary PC case as it looks like it lacks any mounting for std fans etc.
So it came in, i Printed a special adapter for 120mm fan but it failed and it was wayy to complicated. So i ziptied it all wich honestly works very very wel hehe.
The memory has no heatsinks on them yet but with the stock cooler 1 memory module was also not covered so i think it won't be a problem (i expect to get some mem heatsinks in the mail in about 2 weeks)
My 280X has never been this quiet and this cool! there is nothing to hear when gaming and the temps don't go above aprox 65 degrees (30 when idle both in 22 degree environment) i-am very happy!
It may not look as clean but i got no window so that's not the biggest problem.
