Think I'll enjoy the training period at least (5 weeks). I have really good trainers. The first day basically consisted of just getting everything setup emails, accounts, special software, vpn, the works. Things were going well for me until two things occured. First was their program didn't like my Antivirus (Clam) so I put AVG to keep it happy. Second, like Windows 10, I have to have updates turned on for 7. And at this point holy fuck there are a lot of telemetry updates now ffs
Are you going to do support for Comcast through them? I worked there for a few months last year.
I worked there for over a year, Night shift. Was top 5 RST's most of the time. it was fun for a while but got really bad due to changes Crapcast wanted out of us. And last I heard, RST's were going to be told to sell on top of doing the support.
I was with (fuck I forgot the night shift sup's name, I want to say Chris but I could be wrong) and Mr. Batman. But If you find out, tell'em Ken said hi lol and if it's Chris, tell him I smoke Dr. Pepper. He'll know what it means and would laugh.
But it was nice not having to drive anywhere, I used to wake up 5 minutes before I clock in and turn on my computer, log into tools, and start. My pay was higher than most as they started giving new people less before I quit( on top of the nighttime comp)
@TurboDave1 Yes, RST for Comcast
@KenPC Haha yeah the trainers I have are awesome. Hope my sup is just as cool. I was worried about having to sale stuff but I think I can handle it
Just really need the job to pay for last year of college and CCNA exams. Work-from-home is a plus
Who's your trainer? if I may ask.
But try to be good enough to get on night shift. it's the best and pretty chill
OP best of luck with your job.
Chris and Ted
meh, don't know them, trainers come and go quick
