Smb mount issues in ubuntu

i’m assuming i have NFS-common or it wouldn’t have mounted.

i mounted it last night as you did and uploaded a 123gig of data to test and as before it appears to be erroring out though at least in some way. the i/o error looks to be an innocuous error regarding a floppy drive.

ney ney

I wouldnt assume anything.

good point! just sudo apt-get installed. it was already installed.

the chunk error though… idk the few threads i found on google all had different causes.

I’m at work now, gimme a few and I’ll do some digging. I havent seen this on my setup.

What format are your disks in?

looks like XFS if i’m reading right. it’s an older install of unraid that has been upgraded a few times.

You’re on 6.8.3 right?

Yes!

yeah, im not sure thats related to NFS. There shouldnt be an fd0.

doing more testing with other users to see if that chunk error shows again. files appear to be moving. i’m not MD5 summing them or anything but, it seems to be working

i left NC open in web browser over night, today it had multiple alters stating an unknown error occurred, files look to have uploaded. could be session time for all i know. i all don’t have certs for any my servers yet either. this is all on local lan for now.
