SMART self-test in Ubuntu failed?

So I wanted to see how my HDD from 2013 was doing since I haven't used it for almost a year so I formatted it and installed Ubuntu to it and I decided to run the built in SMART self test on the HDD and it says that it failed the read portion. I asked this question over on LTT and I only got a couple responses, and I kinda wanted some more feedback. I was going to use this drive a little later this year for a Linux boot drive when I build my PC. But seeing this, I'm not sure I want to do that now. Though whatever distro I do keep/put on it isn't going to be my main drive.

Anyways here's the self test and drive info:

You dont use it much xD

Mines been on for 4 years!

Tried a long self test?

Yeah I'm not sure why that Power On Hour count is so low, because I'm pretty sure I used it pretty frequently for about a year.

I could swap out the HDDs in this laptop and run the long SMART test instead, since I did only run the short self test when I swapped the HDDs out earlier today to run that self test.

Older drives can apparently have some unreliable smart reporting.

Well if it's relevant it does say the DOM was 03/2013. It was used for about a year and then kinda was left off for about a year or so now.
