I myself would recommend this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811281007 over the LIAN LI. The Nanoxia sacrifices a few pci slots to have the power supply in the back, this way the op has direct access to the rocker switch in case something happens. Plus it has modular drive bays that remove from the side, so the op can remove what he doesnt use and better his airflow.
Op has a fully modular psu, so that helps alot. The only problem I can see going with smaller cases besides reduced airflow, is the cases can get a bit narrow for the Hyper 212. Ive seen this with the Tempest/Source 210 first hand. You might be able to file down the ends of the copper pipes just a little to make it fit if you have clearence issues, however Ive never tried it so Im not sure if this would affect cooling so dont take my word for it.
You arent going to get much smaller without sacrificing parts like your drives or cpu cooler unless you trade out your motherboard for a smaller form factor. But I assume you already have windows installed, right?
Keep in mind airflow as well. You arent going to cram $800 worth of parts into anything like a htcp case like some people are suggesting. If you are really cramped on space, you could do a decorative piece on a wall to mount your parts to.
