Skyrim ENB

0.261, 0.262 and 0.264 don't work.
I have no Idea why.

0.261 and 0.262 crash on launch, while 0.264 crashes when trying to start a new game or loading a saved game.
But 0.264 will crash on launch with an ENB installed.

0.254 works fine though.

Yeah, I get the same problem whenever I try ENB. Usually don't even get to the Bethesda screen, just a flicker to black and a CTD after I try to launch.

Have you tried both the injector and wrapper versions?

Normally own use the wrapper version. Been so long since I last used injector that I can't remember what files I need to use again.

Is there much difference between 0.254 and 0.264?

Make sure that EVGA precision X isnt running, thats what normally intereres with mine, occasionally its Geforce experience too.

I am still rocking EVGA precision 2.1.2 lol

I will try turn it off and the G-force Experience, but this will have to wait till tomorrow evening as I don't have time this evening.

"How do I use the injector version of ENB?"

1. If you have d3d9.dll in your Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim folder, delete it.

2. Extract the ENBSeries archive and move the files from Injector to Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim. DO NOT OVERWRITE WHEN ASKED.

3. Set the following values in enbinjector.ini: [LIBRARY] LibraryName=enbseries.dll [TARGETPROCESS] ProcessName0=skse_loader.exe ProcessName1=SkyrimLauncher.exe ProcessName2=tesv.exe

4. Run the ENBinjector.exe.

5. Start your game and enjoy!

Note: You will have to run ENBinjector.exe before playing your game from now on. I would make a shortcut somewhere.

Changelog:

v0.262: Added distance fade parameter to the mist category. Also rescaled vertical fade of the mist by 0.25. Added EnableTextureAlpha parameter for subsurface scattering effect, it can be modified only manually with game restart. When enabled, alpha channel of sss textures is used to modify subsurface scattering computation radius and amount. Alpha values between 192..255 affect radius by decreasing it up to 4 times, 0..191 values modify amount of subsurface effect. By default alpha is white in textures, so i don't expect any issues with existing body modifications, feel free to modify their sss texture alpha channel, dxt5 format is preffered.
v0.261: Added opacity parameters for volumetric fog (by request). Fixed bug with flickering ambient occlusion, image based lighting and subsurface scattering when using camera fly mode console command at some conditions.
v0.254: Only bugfixes in this version and ENBoost patch tweaks.

Anything that contains an on screen display will cause issues.

DXtory - Fraps(?) - MSI Afterburner etc.
