i recently bought skyrim in philippines and it came with a steam code. when i came back from philippines to australia i installed skyrim and it asked me to enter a code on steam and so i did. it loaded then it said sorry but the following items are not available for purchase in your country. the purchase has been cancelled. please help i dont know what to do, i hate to waste money
Perhaps you should try contacting steam? I'm not entirely sure how that would workout though, but it never hurts to try.
Easy, get a free VPN (that is from Philippines ) use it to activate the game, Enjoy the game :D
I also recommend to use another steam account for this.
You got it cheap because in countries that are poor or the piracy is over 95% steam has another price tag on games. Pretty much Russia and South Asia.
would it work if i asked a family member to put the code in on my account while he is in the philippines? i plan to give him my skyrim code ad my account details, then he would log in to my account while he is in philippines using his pc and activating the code from there, would that work? is it possible?
