Single 3tb seagate barracuda fast enough for recording?

Hey guys I was just looking into recording game footage using fraps and wondering if the write speeds would keep up with 1080p @ pref 60 fps if not 30, If not i was going to look at geting another for raid 0 / and getting an avermedia card in the future to get the stress off my cpu. I would like to start streaming also but i'm limmited by my isp's upload speed until i move. Any help/tips/recomendations on software/hardware appreciated!

It will absolutely keep up no problem. The only down side is when you go to work with the video files themselves it will take a bit longer to move and pre render the files than it would on an SSD. But with a HD you can house way way way more data than you could with any fair priced SSD on the market today. Your 3Tb Barracude will work just fine for you.

Also MSI Afterburner is superior to Fraps in pretty much every regard. Not to mention its free.

Buy the Seagate 2TB SSHD. It is only $170 for an SSD with HDD storage capabilities!
