can we crowd fund our own ISP or VPN or something? Can we trust any of the existing VPN services? I already hate having to pay my ISP, since they have a local monopoly, but now they can make bank on my browsing history. Nerd mesh network here we come. Wendell help us!!!

You can purchase a cheap VPS and connect to it using something like OpenVPN.

Yes, L1T vpn + automated script wich spams some funny websites over normal traffic during off-hours just to throw them off. Disinformation is the key

this is what i do, i have three different droplets running on DigitalOcean each one is 5 bucks a month. works well for my needs...speaking of which should probably go do system updates on those machines
