Simple and free benchmarking tool for performance sanity check

Hello,
I am suspecting that my new build is not performing in gaming as well as it should. I am looking for benchmarking tool to investigate.
Ideally, i would want something free, support memory,CPU and GPU benchmarking and with a board to compare with other builds.

Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Unigen superposition is more a graphical tool, but free and fun…

Maybe cinebench is the generic CPU tool? Pretty industry standard

Hmm, memory. I know of memtest, but not used it, so not sure about pricing…

3dmark / pcmark? ticks most of those save the memory bench. Though some of the tests are ‘dlc’ / paywalled.

I tried to get pcmark, but the tool seems to be pretty expensive . Did i miss a free verrsion somewhere?

PCMark 10 Basic Edition is the free one, though appears to only be delivered via Steam at the moment. It’s here under the ‘home use’ tab:

Nice! I also thought one had to pay. Good to know

I’ve never used it on Windows, but the Phoronix Benchmarking Suite is an option:

The GitHub page does mention that the most complete version is for Linux, even though they have the same version number. Either way, it is free and you can compare results to others on the open benchmarking site:

Not sure what’s happening, but the link goes to paying version on steam

Thanks,
But since i am mainly looking for gaming, i was hoping for a gaming related bench

Probably the ‘download demo’ button on the right?

I haven’t used it in a while, and not certain how it is in Windows, but they have benchmarks to test graphics cards. Perhaps other Windows users can chime in. I have no idea what card you are testing, so you will have to do your own searching to see if your results compare to others with similar hardware, but here is an example:

God damn, of course

thanks

yea I just use 3D Mark, the paid version, on Steam. Its worth buying if you really care to see your performance metrics.
