Hey Razers!
Making a long story short, I'm upgrading my (older) system from Core 2 Quad, GTX295, NZXT Tempest to Core i7, GTX295, and name case.
I CAN'T DECIDE WHICH CASE IS BEST FOR MY NEED!
I've been in love with TJ07 since summer '09 - big, sexy, and awesome for watercooling. I like the fact that you can install a quad radiator at the lower level, and actually be able to watercool every component inside, and still keep it silent. Also the options of casemodding. It's the perfect case for enthusiasts... but since it's a quite old case, it's getting harder and more expensive to get hands on it, specially where I live.
Now, few days ago I opened my eyes for this FT01. Almost same structure (unibody), good looking, smaller, and cost less. It's actually very similar with TJ07, exept it's mid-tower (supports 12" video cards). This case sucks for watercooling, but it's one of the best aircooler cases of it's class. And it's silent (18dBA stock fans + sound dampening foam on panels). Also it has a phenominal (positive-)airflow, and the top 180mm intake fan provides a huge amount of air to the CPU heatsink. Going with this case - going with aircooling. Not a problem at all. A good aircooler is better than a bad watercooling setup, as it is said.
I HAVE been looking around with a friend, for other cases like Lian Li, Cooler Master and other SilverStone. The Lian Li P50 was very close to be a part of my decision, but luckly it didn't.
So it totally stands between the TJ07 and FT01. dramatic drums
The options are:
TJ07: Full-tower case, coming watercooling, lots of casemod, breaking the bank, but may keep this case as long as possible.
FT01: Mid-tower case, aircooling, not much to expand, better budget, may upgrade later on (depends on the sizes of coming hardware.)
You may rate, comment and argue. Thanks for your time! I appreciate.
