I am thinking of building a PC soon, and I have found the SilverStone FT-03 mini case, which I really like the look of. However the case can only use a SFX psu which the max size would be 450w, and only fits graphics cards <10in. So I was wondering whether I should leave this case, or if the psu is able to handle a high-end graphics card (780/290x) or if you could recommend high-end graphics cards which would even fit in the case.
Silverstone sort of promoted that case as a HTPC case. however people have built gaming PCs in that case before. truthfully the only compromise is the PSU. if it took a 650w or at LEAST a 500w it would of been perfect.
But like Anarekist mentioned there are just alternatives that blow it out of the water.
the smallest case you can build an insane Mini-ITX machine is the EVGA Hadron Air which comes with an Integrated PSU. the case is 12inches by 12 inches i think. however for a single GPU setup you wont probably need more than 500w thats if you don't overclock that much.
