This is the only reason i dont like this kind of metal. I want to hear some vocals, not just manly grunts like Tim Alan does on his old show. I find vocalist like these guys funny, I just end up laughing at it.

lmao, how do you find it relaxing. It makes me want to tare out my eyeballs and feed it to the starving people in Africa (In a good way of coarse). If i want to relax, I listen to slow rock songs like stairway to heaven, The Unforgiven, etc.
it's so "downtuned" and grumsy. There are almost no high pitched sounds, no solos. It's sort of the opposite of what i normally listen to.
Oh, well i guess different music relaxes us. Something about clean guitars and smooth vocals gets me relaxed.
Melodic death metal, melodic black metal and pretty much every variation of Doom metal relaxes me :P

Although I have to agree I like varied vocals, not just sludgy gore vocals.
And I like these vocals varied in particular. Kind of because they're different from vocals of the same genre.

ooo, that got a little "Metal Corish" for me, i'm not really a fan of this kind of music, although doomy stuff makes me feel relaxed.(classic ballads does too, and some faster metal songs, and a lot of other stuff, am i going too far here?)

Yes it is "deathcore" or whatever you want to call it but I don't really label my music. If I like it I like it, enough said. The most I would ever label any band for is so other people can understand their sound since it's a little easier.
