Should welfare recipients be randomly drug tested to continue to receive benefit checks?

Providing internet for the purpose of apply for jobs would be pointless because there are places you can go to use a computer specifically for apply for jobs that are already funded by taxes. That would just be something they would use to get onto facebook and mess around playing flash games.

I completely agree, anyone taking welfare or public money should have daily drug tests, politicians, senators, mayors, police officers.....what a great idea.

no.

Some people use drugs for medicinal purposes. Mental or physical, doesn't matter.

Some people also don't even buy drugs, they are shared between friends. Just because they smoke some weed, doesn't mean they can't eat, or have a place to live.

It's unnecessary. Instead of targeting the poor, we should be looking at other woes of society to fix, to bolster them, to increase consumption, and help the economy. Doing this helps nobody.

This is just another example of painting drug addicts as criminals, instead of victims of their environment, with a mental illness. Depending on the drug, for example opioids, people require them after a certain period of usage, and there's nothing that we should say about it, since govt subsidizes big pharma, and they're the largest opiate producers in the world. Instead we should be offering help, instead of creating artificial deterrents.

Don't even give me that bullshit of "get a job," because of the way the system is rigged. As it is now, it's impossible for everyone to have a job. It's a game of musical chairs, wherein technology is slowly but surely, removing the chairs, and people will always be left out, requiring more and more government assistance.
