Should I upgrade or buy a new PC?

http://imgur.com/7wJZ1Ga, here are my current computers specs.

I am not too sure if I should upgrade the video card or just buy a new computer. I have about $200(possibly more) to throw at a new computer or upgrades.

The only games I intend on playing are DayZ, Source Engine games, Oblivion, CoD 4 as well as games on Steam sales and this game http://www.shiningrocksoftware.com/?page_id=680.

And if I decide to upgrade my GPU what one should I get?

Sooo what do you guys think?

It comes down to "do I need to upgrade because my computer won't do what I want", or "do I want to upgrade for the sake of having a better machine."

I would seriously consider getting a newer system. Did you have a budget for this upgrade/build?

Here's a good upgrade, IMHO for little $:

Obviously I can change parts to fit your needs, but this would do well for light gaming and office work.

Well my comp runs like shit.

Thanks for the reply bro, I will consider this build or something similiar !

lol you will be lucky if dayz even boots up on that APU

save up some more and build  a desent gameing rig

Spending $300 on a apu sistem will just disappoint you and ultimately waste your money

Well it's better than what he currently has. Of coarse it's easier to save up and get a better gaming system, which would be the best option, but if the OP wants to buy now with a low budget he could do it with what I suggested. Of coarse it's not the best out there, but for the $, it is about the best that you can get for now. I would rather recommend a Ph II x4 965 w/7850 or 7770 GPU and 8 gb's of DDR3. This kind of build would be around $400-500 or so, like below:

personally http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NoONgFEUo8 is your best bet man or what the others are saying get a new one

Mistress

I would build one from the ground up.

I would strongly advise you to say up at least around $800-1000 (preferably around the $1200 range so you can get a monitor as well), because I'd rather wait a bit and get a strong system than an entry-level system for instant gratification. What's your income like? How long will it take you to get a decent amount of money?

If this is impossible, then consider other options of course.

$500-$600 will get you a good gameing sistem with upgrade possibilities and you will be able to play anything thats out @ 1080p ultra or very high

^This

Taking into consideration the fact that you're considering uprading vs buying a new system, this will give you the ability to upgrade in the future. The APU will get games running, but this system should last a bit longer. This is a great price for a decent machine. Not everyone needs a 1200 dollar gaming rig

i don't think he's trying to play crysis 3 on 3 monitors, that's far too much to spend if he's looking to play a few older games

even a lower end build would probably be sufficent considering coming from what he has he mostlikely doesn't have the highest standards

though i agree that upgrading won't do to much with a pentium4 and 200 isn't enough of a budget, that phenom + 7770 looks pretty good
