I’ve been looking at the surface products and I’m wondering is the surface pro 3 still a good purchase? It will mostly be for university work, light programming, possible note taking and watching media.
I have a Surface Pro 3 and it is great for those things. I think it's very helpful to have the keyboard cover thing which unfortunately comes separately. It is pricey, but it does its niche very well. It is amazing at note taking and the screen is wonderful. It's great for Netflix etc and can even do light-medium gaming. If you are already interested in it I think it's a great purchase. It's not for most people because it doesn't especially excell at anything in particular for the price. What it does do well though, is combine the benefits of a tablet and laptop into one, which is great for us university folk.
you can do all thoss things with a 250$ intel atom tablet/notebook
