Ok in my town there is a Mario DS (old one not light model) and its red and looks cool, is there a massive difference between the old one and the slim one or the DSI.
I dont know much about the DS's so anyone that can fill me in please help!!!

Old one has less brightness then the DS Lite and the DSI. The old one is a bit more bulkier to, but more well built then the DS Lite.
I really can't reccomend the DS, DS Lite, and DSI. I personally don't find many games on the DS to be entertaining, or worth it.
To be honest all I can reccomend is: Animal Crossing and Pokemon for games
they all have the same hardware, except ds lite is smaller, and dsi has a camera.
if you get a ds dont forget to pick up a cyclo-ds evolution so you can emulate your games and play audio/video
get a DS lite. regular DS is too big and the mic is weird. DSi's camera sucks and it doesn't have a GBA slot so you can't play your old Pokemon games; which completely defeats the purpose of having a Nintendo console. tu
That is not true
the dsi has more ram and a faster processor then the ds light and the original ds
I dont really recommend a ds
unless you want to play pokemon which are great games just not worth the money to buy a ds just to play them
I'd say to get the DS Lite.
Main reason for me saying that is because the DSi can't play GBA games, whereas the DS Lite can.
if you use a cyclods you can just emulate all the games so you wont even need the GBA slot. youll drop 200 on the ds, but you wont need to spend any money on games.
I got a R4 for about 23 bucks, but it's outdated.
