Should i download windows 8.1 on my SSD then sign up for windows 10 or should i wait for windows 10 to come out? Please read description

I am building a new PC (first time ever) for gaming and other things. My current PC is a HP Pavilion p7-1423w. I am looking to upgrade. I order some of the parts online including a OCZ 240gb SSD and windows 8.1. I want to install the OS on the SSD but i wont have my possessor or motherboard for around 2 weeks. So should I hook up my SSD to my current system and download windows 8.1 and reserve windows 10 or should I wait? I want windows 10 on my new PC but i'm worried that I wont be able to get it if i wait.

Windows 10 officialy won't be out until the 29th and then there is a period of a year in which you can make your decision so your fine.
