Should I choose Siberia V2 over Logitech G230?

Hi!

 

I've been having Logitech G230 for almost 2 years now and I'm not happy with them. Sound quality is mediocre, but I get a headache after few hours and also microphone is not as good as I would like it to be.

I've been thinking about buying Siberia V2, since I've heard good stories about them from your videos, but I've never noticed you never saying anything about its microphone. I would like to have a less background noise as possible. Price of V2 has also dropped by a margin, when V3 came out. I use microphone wile gaming only, but I can't have microphone catch any keyboard button pressing or anything else.

Any suggestions?

I use the Siberia V2 headset and the mic quality actually isn't that bad. I livestream on twitch with the headset mic and I have not gotten any complaints about voice quality, nor have I had problems in skype. I do have a mechanical keyboard with Blue switches, and it is very clicky, but from what I have seen it has been ok. (I also have pretty long arms, so the mic is a fair distance from the keyboard, and I have a noise gate in place.)
