How long have you used your pc? It's a pre applied pc?

by pe applied u mean which comes with stock cooler then yes this pc is just 3 month old

and i have watched the vedio but how to know if my paste which came pre uplyed is screwed

and how to know if i have spread more will it come off the sides ?

well, with thermal paste that was already applied, there isn't a big chance you've done something wrong. (which kind of processor do you use?)

Check that motherboard. And yeah, look if you can see spilling of thermal paste, but maybe it's not a problem.

edit: maybe there is not any problem

lol till a few days back i ran crysis 3 on ultra my cpu did not even cross 55 C

now it starts up with 45 C and goes upto 50 C and ur saying there is not a problem lol

 my cpu is fx 8350

maybe it was the curing time? My new fx 6300 build is also at about 50 C. That's more likely with pre applied thermal paste. And room temperature is maybe also a factor, I wouldn't worry about it.

Room temperatures are important in factoring your CPU temp. Where I live, it's starting to get warm (FINALLY) and I've noticed my temps have also increased. In the winter, my CPU was hovering around 35C, now it's around 42C (It's strange, I gotta look into air flow after finals) on my Hyper 212 EVO. But the important thing to note is that your CPU/GPU temps will fluctuate as ambient temps fluctuate.

need way more information on OP build. I had to de-lid my Intel and apply new paste, which was a bit frightening but more information would help find a solution.

There's your problem... Pee applied thermal paste never works out

Damn it! You necroed this!!!

id say need specs .. but also cpus ramp up during power up , so it lowers when windows boots which is normal but id say get some prem thermal paste and apply it.

but cant say if temps are ok unless we see some specs

i suppose he will have his thermal issues solved after two years.
