So i've just sold my ps vita,
And i've got about 100,- euro's to spend on a new gpu.
I can get a 7950 or R9 280 for that price would it be a smart buy? (I know they are exaclty the same)
I-am going AMD for sure because of DX12 (yes it is important to me (also because i've got an G3258)
I currently own a 7850 with only 1GB vram.. but that's going to my girlfriend to upgrade her 4870 512mb haha.
Get the 285 / 380 (4gb vershons)as this is DX12 compatable the 7950/280 isent (well it is but has less DX12 features)
well nobody is selling his or her 285 so i-am afraid that won't work same for the 380 and it is to expensive sadly
get a ebay sniper and start bidding on 290's ;)

A ebay sniper is a program that add's your top bid 1 second before it finishes great for things that start at zero or not very well listed products
The 280 is a solid 1080p card. I think that you will be happy with it.

the 3gb vram is soo much better 1gb vram just is not enough.
and i game @1080
3gb is sufficient for 1080p for sure. I have a 280x and usually don't see more than about 2400mb usage. I think that you will be happy with the performance.
Personally own a Gigabyte R9 280 Windforce and game at 1080, or 1440 using VSR. The card works great, you wont regret it.
The only issue I have with 280 personally, is the lack of freesync...
I would personally (again, personally) wait or look around for 285... Simply because of the freesinc. The freesinc monitors are as affordable as under 200$ so...
well i'll need to wait a bit anyway, since some nice cards are not online anymore so i'll have to wait for someone else to sell his/her card
