Not sure if this is a good idea or a bad one. I’m setting up a TrueNAS Scale system in my home lab, where I intend to host my Linux Mint home directory. I’d like to be able to work from this directory across a few different systems, both real and virtual.
Question: If I’m logged into multiple sessions (real and virtual) at the same time, all pointing at the same nfs share of an entire home directory, are bad things going to happen? If so what? And are there workarounds?
