I've had good luck selling on Craigslist. A successful sale often depends on where you live for that. Price should reflect what your area demands. Also, I would mention it's overclocked, many want that, regardless. If it hasn't been used much, mention that. Don't bother mentioning why you are selling it in the add, you can talk about that later with serious shoppers, and even then, just tell them you need the money. If you want to try and get the best price, post it as "or best offer" and only consider higher offers, not lower, just wait at least 2 weeks for bids to come in. Don't be in a hurry and let the shoppers sweat it out and bid for it. Post clean pics too, don't show of your messy room, just the PC.
