Self installing anti virus?

so this morning i get on the computer as usual and everything is working perfect as all ways. I go to school and when i come home the first thing i see is a new icon on my desktop that says system security. WTF? i never installed this so i ask my dad since he was at home today and was using it and asked him if he installed anything and he said no (dont believe him) so i am looking to remove this anti virus program and its not in the add or remove.

the computer is also running uber slow. WTF is going on? and i think my dad was liek watching porn or something cuz i checked the history and there was nothing in todays history and he was using the computer. FUCK >_<

Go to the program files, temp folder, and the windows folder and look for the system security thing and delete all the files for it. then restart your computer. also search in the cache. there might be something there.

this is why i don't let anyone use my computer

Get Avast and run a boot time scan, should do the thing.

cna u direct me to it i cant find it in program files

uhh, get avast or something and then unplug your internet. run the scan. yep.

spybot search&destroy is pretty handy too, if you don't already have it. its something that rids you of spyware. just update every week.

edit : didn't see above taht use ca antivirus. unplug your internet first before you run the scan.

i just ran an anti spyware search and it found this system security thing as a rouge security thingy gunna quarantine it now

the cache should be in the windows folder last time i checked

look through all the folders until you find it it should be there if it's on the desktop. I have a screen grab of how to find the cache file. soon I just gotta run to my desktop.

no no its gone now i quarantined it with my anti virus its all good =) just gotta restart now

I swear if my dad watches porn on my computer again im going to flip the fuck out

o good.

well its not as slow as it was but its still slow as fuck and i cannot watch videos its not the buffering even if the video is fully loaded its very very laggy

that really sucks. probably means it's not totally gone. just do what i said and double check for anything left behind

also reinstall all your drivers that will defiantly rule out that they're damaged
