Should I be able to select primary GPU in ASUS PRIME x570-P somehow? It must be possible somehow, right? Why can’t I find how to do it.
Documentation says that there might be an option but it varies based on CPU installed. I can’t find this in BIOS. They also have other BIOS manual that doesn’t have NB Configuration at all.
I have two GPU’s that only fit in one configuration so I can’t switch their places. I already drilled some bolts and removed one wall to fit RTX 2080 TI in my case.
Not sure if it still holds true for the Prime X570 but I think on older Asus boards, you had to disable (or enable?) CSM and then it would use the lower 16x slot as default… my memory is fuzzy about that but may be worth a try.
Only setting like that I’ve ever seen in BIOS regards iGPU or the IPMI GPU of a server board, vs whatever add-in card it arbitrarily decides/ all add-in cards displaying BIOS. In windows it just (mostly) goes off of whichever GPU is connected to your primary display.
