Just had an acquaintance post this;
"Anyone else heard of a secure boot violation black/red screen today? Had 2 clients call me up about it this morning and saw one guy posting on WP. Sounds windows update related."
I don't have any more information, I know it is limited...
It is not on a surface.... Was able to get around the issue by disabling uefi, Any suggestions on what may cause this or heard of this issue?
I think they are leaning towards Windows update related but...?
PS image from a forum post about it:
Update:
"So, the only things I can find so far are that both my clients were running Windows 7 and ASUS motherboards (Different gens though). I don't think the brand is the key as I've heard of reports of other brands suffering the same issue. It seems to be agreed upon that it is/was an update issue though. I guess MS will work it out pretty quick and fix whichever particular update it is."
