So my psu bust and i threw it away. Luckily my dads pal is a computer kinda guy and gave me a free seasonic s12 600w. While im sure its a decent psu due to seasonic being one of the best it seems to have very limited cable options (One of the main ones that the 8-pin mobo connector doesn't reach when ran at the back of my mobo tray). Also considering im teetering on whether an upgrade is necessary or not as im expecting a decent amount of money very soon, i was wondering will the PSU be good enough for said upgrades ?
basicly its a decent psu indeed,.
However depending a bit on what kind of upgrades you have in mind.
And of course the specs of your current setup.
I was actually thinking of GPU, SSD and maybe mobo and cpu. however im definetley in need of some peripheral upgrades. A keyboard, mouse, monitor and headphones. I was thinking of corsair k70, logitech g502 some sms on ear headphones (maybe wireless ones) and a new monitor(s). Either a wide screen or 2 slim bezel as i find it excruciating opening 2 wndows side by side which i do a lot. I think ima go 2 slim bezel tho. My current specs are in my profile ;)
You will still be fine with that Seasonic psu, after you did some upgrades.
Unless you want to go with something like a X99 setup.
In that case i would recommend a better psu.
Ok cheers i think x99 would be a bit out of my budget ;)
