Searching for a keyboard for gaming

Hi, I am looking for a new gaming keyboard to replace my old standard hp one.

My friend just got a mx cherry green keyboard. I tried it and liked it, but I would like something firmer. what's the next step up from cherry green? Can't seem to find much info online. Most are about blue, red or brown.

Thanks!

Cherry MX greens are the stiffest Cherry MX switch that I know of. I would recommend you give Black switches a try, as they are a linear switch, and will be better for gaming than a tactile switch like MX greens, and they are the 2nd heaviest switch after greens.

Cherry MX Whites have the same listed actuation force as the Greens, but I've read they are a little stiffer (maybe 5 grams more).  You only really find them in Vortex and a few Ducky boards though, afaik.  Other than that, you might be able to find some old buckling spring boards that are a bit stiffer, but I don't know of any other modern switches that require more force than the Greens.

Maybe you could get whatever keyboard you want and then mod it with heavier springs?  120g gold Korean springs maybe?  If you can get your hands on them that is.
