Vista is finished... everything is so much slower... It wasted a year with this nonsense. I was stable but slow.
DX 10 was a good idea... too bad vista was too slow to run it.
I'm upgrading from vista to XP.
o well, at least they have 7 coming...
im thinking of doing the same...I hope windows 7 will be just as fast as XP

xp is a really good OS vista is eh! its pretty but a resource hog
well at least we have 7 to look forward to in 6 different flavors
i'm not feeling slowdowns much ever, but i'm definitely hopping on windows 7 as soon as it's official.
I wasn't feeling slowdown until I started using more than 4 apps at the same time... XP was much faster with tons of stuff open.

yeah....i didnt want to use one that i needed to download some program for, like "WindowBlinds" or something...
i like vista.
i dont really notice slowdowns or whatnot because i dont run that many demanding programs at once. i could never go back to xp becuse of DX10.
the only thing keeping me on vista is aero theme, i didn't like the bootleg version i was using on XP. lol
i was too lazy to look through a bunch of good xp themes so i just went with the first one that looked good to me which was called like area o4.2... umm lets see...
